# Delivery and tracking

> Mark an asset delivered, end tracking, or end tracking and expire it.

Delivery and tracking are separate. Marking an asset Delivered does not itself stop tracking, although configured platform rules may stop it. Ending tracking, or ending tracking and expiring the asset, is recommended for Delivered assets. Both remain available after delivery.

All three actions use Edit an asset (`PUT /Assets/EditAsset`). A successful request returns HTTP `200` with `{"Code":200,"Message":"Success"}`.

## Mark delivered

```json theme={null}
{
  "AssetID": "00000000000000000000000000000003",
  "AssetStatus": 5
}
```

## End tracking

```json theme={null}
{
  "AssetID": "00000000000000000000000000000003",
  "EnableTracking": 0
}
```

## End tracking and expire

```json theme={null}
{
  "AssetID": "00000000000000000000000000000003",
  "EnableTracking": 0,
  "AssetStatus": 9
}
```

## Field names

Update requests use `EnableTracking` and `AssetStatus`. Get asset returns `DoTracking` and `StatusNo`. List assets returns `StatusNo` but not `DoTracking`.

## Asset status values

| Value | Status |
| - | - |
| `1` | Created |
| `2` | Ready |
| `5` | Delivered |
| `9` | Expired |
| `100` | Exception |

The table lists the statuses used in the workflows on this page.
