# Aiyoti Integration API Basic

> Integrate asset creation, retrieval, updates, and tracking lifecycle management into your application.

Base URL: `https://api.aiyoticloud.com`

All examples use fictional identifiers. Replace them with identifiers belonging to your account.

## Request conventions

* Send JSON request bodies with `Content-Type: application/json`.
* Asset endpoints require the `AccessKey` request header. See the Authentication page.
* Field names are case-sensitive and are shown exactly as the API uses them.

## Response handling

HTTP status and the JSON `Code` field are separate values. Successful asset changes return HTTP `200` with `{"Code":200,"Message":"Success"}`.

Check the HTTP status before processing the response body. HTTP `400` indicates a rejected request; HTTP `422` indicates invalid input, such as a missing required field or an incorrect value type.
